In Argentina, Seaboard owns a large agro-industrial complex, mostly located in the Department of Oran, in the North of Salta, whose processes and products are being certified by the most demanding audits in the world.

We are looking for a Head of Cost and Budget who is willing to relocate or travel frequently.

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

• Planning and Coordination: Prepare and coordinate the company's annual budget.
• Costing: Calculate standard production costs and project expense reports.
• Execution Control: Monitor actual costs, compare them with the budget, and report variances.
• Cost Review: Review the accuracy of calculations and the allocation bases for production costs.
• Monthly Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly cost reports in a timely manner.
• Systems Implementation: Develop systems and procedures to control and reduce production costs, identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions to improve profitability.
• Quarterly Forecast: Lead the quarterly cost and expense forecasting processes for the preparation of the projected P&L and Cash Flow statements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in cost processes and propose changes to increase efficiency.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the management of finished goods inventories and ensure accurate recording of production.
• Invoicing: Oversee invoicing tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Quality and Sustainability Policies: Comply with and enforce policies related to Quality, Safety, Sustainability, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

✔️Has a degree in accounting.
✔️Has 5-7 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in agro-industrial companies.
✔️Has advanced knowledge of Excel (required) and other data analysis tools (preferred).
✔️Has intermediate written English skills.
✔️Results-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
