The Position
Olé Life is looking for a Business Development Lead to structure and scale its agent- and broker-driven sales engine across Latin America.
This role reports directly to the Head of Revenue and owns the company’s go-to-market strategy end-to-end, balancing short-term sales targets with long-term, sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will bring a structured and data-driven approach to agent acquisition, onboarding, performance, and retention, while also building the internal sales team and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales strategy across the agent/broker channel, aligning revenue growth with long-term scalability.
- Design and implement a structured go-to-market system for agent acquisition, onboarding, activation, performance management, and retention.
- Test and optimize scalable initiatives such as incentive structures, digital acquisition programs, and referral loops.
- Build and lead the sales team: define org structure, hire key roles, and foster a performance-driven culture.
- Define and track sales KPIs (conversion, productivity, CAC/LTV) and work with Data/Ops to develop dashboards and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align lead generation, feedback loops, and client experience.
- Shift the current relationship-driven model toward a more performance-led, tech-enabled sales engine.
- Support regional expansion by designing country-specific go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in sales leadership, ideally in insurance, fintech, or other agent-driven models.
- Proven track record building and scaling go-to-market teams and sales systems in fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of sales funnels, field force dynamics, and digital acquisition strategies in LATAM.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to design, implement, and act on performance metrics.
- Experience designing incentive programs, growth experiments, and engagement strategies.
- Fluency in Spanish and English required; Portuguese is a strong plus.
