At INHAUS, we are partnering with a multinational company operating in the logistics and international trade sectors to recruit a Financial Controller to join its team in Panama.

We are looking for a senior finance professional with strong analytical and strategic skills, a solid business acumen, and the ability to combine technical expertise with a comprehensive understanding of operations. The ideal candidate will turn financial data into actionable insights that support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections.

• Analyze financial results and variances, identifying opportunities and recommending action plans.

• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support business and investment decisions.

• Oversee accounting processes, financial closings, tax compliance, and audits.

• Manage treasury operations, cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, as well as relationships with banking institutions.

• Strengthen internal controls and financial risk management.

• Define and monitor financial KPIs relevant to the business.

• Translate complex financial information into clear recommendations for senior management and leaders across different departments.

• Lead and develop the finance team, driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

What Are We Looking For?

A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in finance roles and a proven track record in FP&A, accounting, taxation, and treasury management.

The following qualifications are essential:

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations.

• Advanced proficiency in financial ERP systems and Excel.

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Business acumen and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

• Proven experience in team leadership and development.

Experience in multinational companies, particularly in logistics, international trade, or businesses with complex regional operations, will be highly valued.
