This year, The Santa María is looking to meet professionals with experience in front desk operations, guest services, and team leadership, who combine service excellence, organizational skills, and attention to detail to create memorable guest experiences.

Where could your experience take you?

The Santa María is looking for talent for the position of Front Desk Supervisor, within its Hotel Operations team.

An opportunity to coordinate daily front desk operations, lead the reception team, and ensure an exceptional guest experience in line with Marriott International and Luxury Collection standards.

The challenge will be to ensure seamless operations, anticipate guests' needs, and turn every interaction into an outstanding hospitality experience.

What will your main challenges be?

• Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, room assignments, reservations, and special guest requests.

• Ensure compliance with Marriott International and Luxury Collection service standards and operational procedures.

• Handle guest requests, complaints, and incidents, providing timely solutions and effective service recovery.

• Supervise the proper use of OPERA, GXP, and Empower, ensuring accurate guest records, charges, and payments.

• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, Concierge, Security, and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

• Lead, coach, and train the front desk team, supporting professional development and departmental objectives.

• Monitor guest satisfaction indicators, operational reports, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

What experience and skills are we looking for?

• University studies in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Hotel Management, or related fields.

• Experience in front desk operations, preferably in a supervisory role within upscale or luxury hotels.

• Experience leading teams and coordinating hotel operations.

• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken (essential).

• Proficiency in OPERA, GXP, and Empower for guest management and front desk operations.

• Knowledge of Marriott International service standards; previous experience at Marriott or Luxury Collection properties is an advantage.

• Experience handling VIP guests, resolving complaints, managing service recovery, and overseeing operational processes.

• Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
